Challenge
The Ordinary contacted us to create a minimal yet hyperrealistic mixed reality animation to announce its arrival in Thailand. Wanting to make a bold impact while staying true to the brand’s clean aesthetic, we came up with the concept of giant serum bottles placed on tuk-tuks in Yaowarat (Chinatown, Bangkok). The challenge was ensuring the CG elements blended seamlessly with real-world footage.
Result
The final animation seamlessly blended The Ordinary’s minimalist branding with Bangkok’s vibrant cityscape, resulting in a visually striking yet natural-looking campaign. The hyperrealistic execution made the content highly shareable, sparking significant engagement and buzz on social media. The post ranked among The Ordinary’s most engaging CG content, further proving the concept’s effectiveness in capturing audience attention.
